We currently use:

• TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) of various Shore hardnesses

...differs from the original material used (PU) not only in the manufacturing process, but has also been specially adapted to our requirements. By adding various additives, it is very resistant to UV rays, oils and fats and can withstand high mechanical loads. Depending on the degree of hardness, it is flexible to varying degrees. Overall, the TPU appears to be more resilient and resistant than the PU used previously.

• nylon-carbon

...is a material reinforced with carbon fibers. Thanks to its outstanding mechanical properties, it can easily withstand very high loads and is also highly heat-resistant.

• ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylic Ester)

...is a plastic that is also extremely UV-resistant. This means that the material does not yellow and does not crack or become brittle. It is also very heat-resistant and resistant to petrol and oil.

• Steel and other metals of various compositions

The intake manifolds in particular are unimaginable without an internal high-strength steel construction. For products that exceed the requirements of plastics, we use various processed steels and metal types to meet these requirements.

Each product goes through different manufacturing and processing processes. Here is a brief overview:

1. Basically, new products must first be designed or constructed in the CAD program. For more complex parts, the dimensions and shape are determined using a 3D scanner. For simpler products, the measurements can be taken manually. Some products are specified (also on request), which means that fundamental changes have to be made.
2. We then select the appropriate materials, which vary depending on the application conditions and desired properties.
3. Finally, it's starting! Now the first production tests are carried out and the product is tested for the first time on the test object (the appropriate motorcycle / car). We then optimize the product and modify it several times or adapt it to the customer's wishes.

Depending on the product, material and appearance, additional processing steps are carried out (e.g. smoothing the product, CNC laser and milling technology, etc.) ⚙️
